Christmas Lights You Never Want Your Kids To See

Welcome to the Secret Santa Blog Hop. You will find all the information on how the hop works and the list of blogs by following this link or clicking on the Secret Santa tab at the top of the blog. Time to start hopping! Hope you have loads of fun and win some great prizes. Who will be your Secret Santa? You have to hop to find out!

http://tabithablake.blogspot.com/p/secret-santa-blog-hop.html

Thought I would show you the strange side of Christmas. Hang on tight things are fixing to get really weird! Some things are just down right wrong! Not sure what some people are thinking when they do crazy lights like these. You don't want to have to explain these lights to your kids. WOW! Unbelievable! The Christmas Spirit just went out the window and the strange and demented ideas have come out. These lights are twisted!

You might be a redneck if you...put this ghastly thing out for Christmas. This is just wrong in so many ways. Poor Rudolph. I'm not sure if I want to laugh or stare in shock. Horrendous!

I'm just picturing a kid asking, "Mom why does Santa have a gun?" I'm all for funny but this is kind of pushing it. Not something you want to explain to your kids. Santa Hunting deer is just way over the top.

This made me laugh a little just because it is so outrageous. Who does this stuff? You know what never mind I don't even want to know. Unbelievable! Some people should be ashamed to put a display like this in their front yard for all to see. Good luck explaining that to your kids!

I don't even know what to say about this one? What the heck? Man people really are freaking nuts!

That's it folks. The tour of the demented Christmas Lights has come to an end. I will leave you with one question. What was picture two of?

Now it is time to give away a prize and I have a really great one for you. Me and Nicole Morgan are giving ways a copy of her book Sweet Salvation. I have read this book and just loved it. Please leave a comment with your email address to win.

[Siren Allure: Erotic Contemporary Romantic Suspense] Falling in love with his best friend wasn't what Rex had intended, but it seemed that when it came to Shelby all bets were off. After a rocky start, the two fall in love, completely unaware of the danger that lurks in the distance. Plagued with nightmares, Shelby begins to remember memories of abuse she suffered as a teenager, which were long ago buried and forgotten. Dealing with the pain of her past brings her and Rex closer together. Someone else wants Shelby for himself though and is determined to get her by any means necessary. As he sets his plan into motion, the question of who will survive and who will be destroyed remains unanswered as a surprise from Shelby’s past may be the key to finding Sweet Salvation.

Happy Hopping,
Tabitha Blake

Wow, I never thought I'd see anything like this. Thank goodness my kids have their own now and I don't have to explain something like these pics. lol But a gun toting Santa is just wrong every way.
Second pic is of Santa in either a Deer or Hunting Blind and Rudolph hiding on the side. :)

I have never seen lights like this and hope I never see them over here. Thank goodness it seems to be just stars and angels and Santas and reindeer. (without guns) in this area anyway. All I can say is some people are just sick - whatever happened to 'Peace and Goodwill'? Does anyone even remember that this is supposed to be a religious festival any mor?
(sorry if I sound old fashioned and prudish, but I think lights like this are a step too far!)

Happy Christmas everyone!

I love the christmas lights pictures. People dontseem to have the time or money to do much to their houses anymore, but I still love the lights.

One of my favorite Christmas Romance Books is The Untamable Rogue by Annette Blair! The story is about Ashford Blackburne Fifth Earl and he has to get married and get his willing bride pregnant before Christmas or his grandfather won’t let him inherit his money. Ash truly needs to inherit the money because his late father squandered it all away and he is taking care of his mother. After getting stood up at the alter, again, Ash and his friends go to the local pub where the owner plays a drunken Ash in a card game…his consolation prize is the pubs daughter Larkin, who he wants to get ride of. Ash has to learn to forgive…Larkin has to learn how to trust…can two completely different people find love together. This is a cute, extremely funny, romantic story with a surprise Christmas ending!

thank you for the chance at such a great giveaway. some of the pix were funny others not so much. i figure either Santa needs the insurance money on Rudolph or the reindeer are really aliens and they don't want to work for the happy fat man any more. their out to get him,is why he's up there with the shotgun. at least that's what you could tell the kids, it's better than picture #2 is Santa in a Deer Blind. LOL

seriously though these lights went just a bit to far in some cases.

Well, I live in WV and in our little town hunting is so big all the schools are closed for the first entire week of hunting season, which just happens to be the week of Thanksgiving so we get a whole week off for Thanksgiving. It's even written in the Bus drivers contracts that they get that week off, that's why there is no school plus even a lot of girls here hunt. That is Santa and his buddy in a deer stand, yes they are called deer stands, the lazy way to hunt, and you will see them all over the place here. When we first moved here I thought they were raised kids play houses until my dh who is a native explained it to me and I was like "but it's in the front yard!!" He just looked at me with a look that said" And your point is????"

h my goodness. I can't believe that someone thought the gun-weilding Santa up, got it produced and someone bought it!

I totally laughed-out-loud at the mating deer pic. And the elf peeing off the roof was clever, but I would cringe if my little girls saw that.

Thanks for the laugh!

Awe. I think the copulating deer and Santa peeing are very educational for the kids. Will give them something to discuss while on Christmas break. :-D LOL

Thanks for sharing those enlightening pictures.
My 13 year old came over to ask me a question as I was looking at your post... she saw the peeing Santa pic and all she could say was "Oh My Goodness that is wrong on so many levels that I don't even wanna know what you are doing" then she walked out the room.. I had to go asked what she wanted...

Snicker. Very funny, I know several family members that would love to have a blow-up deer stand with Santa gracing their lawn. Would be kind of hard to explain to the kids though.
