A Texas Christmas Carol

With Christmas right around the corner I thought we would do Christmas Texas style. I was born and raised in Texas and when I found this I just had to share it. Hope it brings a smile to your face. I know it made me giggle.

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me a possum in an oak tree.

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me two tumble weeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me five longhorns, four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds, and a possum in an oak tree.

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me six armadillos, five longhorns, four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the seventh day of Charismas my true love gave to me seven jalapenos, six armadillos, five longhorns, four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the eighth day of Christmas my true love gave to me eight saddles, seven jalapenos, six armadillos, five longhorns, four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me nine cowboy boots, eight saddles, seven jalapenos, six armadillos, five longhorns, four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumble weeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me ten ten gallon hats, nine cowboy boots, eight saddles, seven jalapenos, six armadillos, five longhorns, four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me eleven bluebonnets, ten ten gallon hats, nine cowboy boots, eight longhorns, seven jalapenos, six armadillos, five longhorns, four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds and a possum in an oak tree.

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me twelve yellow roses, eleven bluebonnets, ten ten gallon hats, nine cowboy boots, eight saddles, seven jalapenos, six armadillos, five longhorns, four oil wells, three pickup trucks, two tumbleweeds and a possum in an oak tree.
Damned Crazy Texans! LOL!

Thanks. I really like the new Christmas back ground. I also thought you might like the bears. HaHa! Inside joke. At least these bears look friendly. Just don't throw any rocks at them. Okay?

LOL, I won't throw rocks at these bears. They are Christmas bears. Now if they were raccoons, I couldn't promise nothing.

Very funny. My only problem is with nine cowboy boots. What do you do with the extra boot? Unless you the legs. But I'd love to see a poison in an oak tree!
