The Homecoming Review

This is my first post here on NN, and I'm both nervous and excited. Today I'm going to put up a book review. I recently read a long time favorite author of mine, JoAnn Ross. Her latest novel, The Homecoming, was released in summer of this year. It's a contemporary romance with some suspense elements. I love paranormal, reading it and writing it, but there's still something about a story of the ordinary world, with somewhat ordinary, but extraordinary heroes and heroines. JoAnn is exceptional about writing novels set in a small community where people are still looking out for one another, and is friendly. It makes me wish I lived in a place like that.

The characters in The Homecoming were so amazing. On top of the romance between Sax Douchett and Kara Conway, JoAnn focuses on relationships between others in the story as well. There's Kara's son Trey. There's also Kara's mom. There's also a great suspense plot in the book, too. When Sax first shows up back home, he's with his dog and the dog finds a human bone. Kara, as the sheriff of Shelter Bay, is forced to see Sax again after many years.

If you haven't had the chance to read a book with Ross's name on it, then The Homecoming could be a great start. It's one of those that will sit on my keeper shelf to be able to read again and again. I highly recommend the book.

Thank you for taking the time to read this review. I hope everyone has a great week, and happy November! The year is almost over. It's definitely gone by fast!

Wow, great review. I think I will go out and buy this novel. I'm typically a para reader, but I've been looking for something a little different to read.
Thanks.

Thanks, guys. JoAnn Ross is one of my favorite contemporary and suspense authors. I always try to read a variety of everything, Paranormal and urban fantasy are new to me, even though I don't know why it took me so long. I've always been addicted to things of the paranormal kind.
