They are both great outlets to vent frustration.
You can beat the hell out of a punching bag at the gym, you can run it off on the treadmill, and you can push the weight off your shoulders. Literally.
And if you're frustrated, you can write a scene in your book that reflects your mood. Anger, irritation, well then write the scene that a character is feeling those things.
I find mood often reflects how you're writing, and what you write, so why not go with it?
Though if you're really angry and kill off too many characters or something, well, we might want to rethink writing in the romance genre.....
That's just my tidbits. It's been crazy, I've been wanting to pull my hair out, so that was what's on my mind. Getting rid of that frustration.
