Two authors (living or dead) you'd want to have dinner with:
Alyson Noel
Cherry Adair
Both authors are not just fabulous writers but genuine and good-hearted souls. I would love to have dinner with them. I'd have to invite James Scott Bell and Jessica Brody to our table too for the same reasons. Big party.

Hmmm, probably armchair traveler. Especially after watching Celebrity Close Calls.

Your Writing
Writing music:
Disney HD—not by choice. Actually Jessica Brody turned me onto using a white noise track. It's pretty cool. I tend to use it only when writing though not editing.
Character Inspirations:
I first see the big picture. What is the conflict and how will my character react?
From there, they literally come alive on their own. I know some writers who base them on people they know, I don't think I've ever had that happen. Not yet. Not 100%. Maybe subconsciously little bits and pieces of personality traits from people I am close to. But no clones.
Plot Inspirations:
This one is a hard one because I find I am better at writing than brainstorming.
It seems I need to brainstorm with cps to really get the ball rolling. But inspiration is everywhere. Movies, people, songs. Just gotta keep your eyes open. Sometimes I get an aha moment, other times I don’t.
Setting Inspirations:
This one is fun. I try to choose something that is exciting but yet familiar in a way where readers will feel comfortable. 'Cause after all, we are taking them for a ride, might as well make it an unforgettable one.
Plotter (carefully plot books) or Pantser (write from the seat of your pants):
I used to be a straight up SOTP/Pantster. Still am in a way. Nothing is set in stone but I'll tell you one thing. I will NEVER start a book WITHOUT Blake Snyder's Save the Cat. If you are not familiar with STC, I Highly recommend you to familiarize yourself. Here is a blog post I've written on Save the Cat.
Once you go cat, you won't go back.
